For a beautiful long lasting candle please read the following information..

TO PREVENT FIRE, HAZARD OR INJURY:

Never leave a burning candle unattended

Keep out of reach of children & pets

Place candle on a stable heat resistant surface

Keep out of drafts

Never move a lit candle as container will be hot

STORING YOUR CANDLES & DIFFUSERS

Always store your candles & reed diffusers in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.Direct sunlight will cause your candles to discolour and turn yellow, and may cause the surface to bubble. It will also discolour the diffuser liquid and can affect the fragrance.

DO NOT BURN FOR MORE THAN  4 HOURS

Extinguish the flame after 4 hours (using the lid or a snuffer) trim the wick and allow to cool and re-set. Then re-light.

you get to the end of your candle you should leave about 1cm of wax. Burning. Past this point overheats the glass jar which can cause it to smash.

CREATE A BURN MEMORY

When burning your soy candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt right to the edge of the container. This will take approx 2 hours (less for the smaller size). This will create a burn memory which will ensure your candles burns evenly and right to the edges.

USE THE LID TO EXTINGUISH FLAME

Do not blow your candle out, this causes the wick to smoke. Extinguish the flame by using a candle snuffer or the lid!

TRIM THE WICK

Trim the wick to approx 6-8mm, and remove any mushrooming at the end of the wick before re-lighting your candle. Be careful not to trim it too short!

CLEANING

If you have some soot from the wick fall onto your candle when trimming, or due to drafts- let the candle cool then wipe clean with a damp cloth or baby wipe.
